Hi Harry,
I actually met Geena Davis at La Costa Resort & Spa when she was still married to Renny Harlin. She approached me when she noticed I had a Finnish flag on my lapel and [she] was just the most pleasant person to speak with. She asked me about my pin and I told her [in Finnish] that my husband [back then] was also Finnish. She brought her husband to meet me and I couldn't believe how unpretentious she was with all her accomplishments. I'm not a big fan of the Hollywood scene, but she was definitely a flawless diamond in a sea of charcoal. She's very admirable and a great representative of how women can succeed all odds - even in Hollywood!
